Let’s create something just for you.

Commissioning a piece of art is a special experience—one that allows you to be part of the design process from the very beginning. Together, we’ll select colors, style, size, and overall mood to craft a one-of-a-kind work that reflects your space and your story.

In the early stages, I’ll work closely with you to understand the feeling you want the piece to convey. We'll define a palette and discuss layout preferences, so I can translate your vision into something uniquely mine—and uniquely yours.

Because each piece evolves layer by layer, there are often moments where I check in. And other times, I simply follow the flow. I ask my clients to trust the process as I do—to let go a little, knowing that the final reveal is always a joyful and meaningful moment.

The Process

• Planning – Color palette, energy, size, and shape (for works 24x36 and larger)
• Confirmation – Signed agreement with final plan and price; 50% non-refundable deposit required
• Creation & Updates – Occasional check-ins or photos, depending on the piece
• Final Reveal – In person if local, or carefully packed and shipped with care

After admiring Victoria Thornton’s art for several years, we decided that owning one of her charcuterie boards was not enough.  We decided to commission a piece.  The experience was easy and fun resulting in a wonderful, large piece of art.  She visited our home to get a feel for our colors, taste, and available space.  As the piece progressed through the summer, she shared photos and asked for feedback (we were 1,800 miles away).  The piece is beautiful and exceeded our expectations.  Victoria is very creative and it was fun to collaborate with her.

 "Fall of 2020 we decided to renovate our home to a more contemporary look. We wanted our furniture and walls to be the blank canvas and just needed our punch of color to be our statement piece. After seeing Victoria's art at K Newby Gallery, then again at Miraval Resort and Spa, we knew we had found our artist. After a quick Google search, I was delighted to discover that she was a local artist and to top it off lived right around the corner from us. Victoria met with us and the fun began. We decided we wanted to go BIG -- a size that was to take over her entire studio and house. We gave Victoria a list of colors that we wanted and these were to complement our unique granite of our kitchen's island and off to work she went. The process of painting, you'll have to ask Victoria; the results speak for themselves. The house's main focal point is our painting. Put simply, it's the star of the room. We're already looking forward to our next area, our entrance way. Working with someone who has such passion, vision, and creativity in their work made this venture fun.
